“I am grateful for the Staff Council Scholarship which will help me complete my masters of public administration program. I am loving working in higher education and the MPA program is providing me with many valuable skills and methods for ethical and responsible leadership in our public sector. I am passionate about increasing access to higher education for underserved communities and work closely with Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion at the U in addition to co-chairing the U’s Anti-Racism Committee. Completing my graduate degree is already helping expand my understanding of how we can implement better policies and practices as we work to ensure everyone feels a sense of belonging at the U.”
